 Automatic headlight control sensitivity

Hi all, I've been driving my brand new E90 this week-end and quite often I noticed that the headlights were on while I was in town, in the middle of the afternoon, in open air
I called BMW this morning and they told me the sensitivity can be adjusted. It is accessible from the Idrive menu or can be done by a dealer if they plug the car.
I was wondering if anyone else came with the same kind of behaviour ?? The fact is it was very sunny this week-end and I think the headlights switched on in the shadow of a building or under (light) trees. But still... I find it a bit to much sensitive
Any report on this from other owners would be apreciated ! Especially those with I-drive who would have adjusted the sensitivity by themselves
Thanks.

I don't have iDrive. The headlight turn on even when I move my car from my house (not condo) garage on sunny day and when I go under the bridge on a sunny day as well. I can imagine it is on with the shadow of tall building in the city...

Yup, any shadow flicks on the auto headlamps. I hope it can really be adjusted.

The Auto lights sensitivity can be set on the iDrive, ive set mine to the least sensitive setting and although its better the lights are still to sensitive.

Oh that's very interesting, thanks so much for sharing this info.
Could you tell how many levels of sensitivity there is between min and max , and do you remember what the default setting was ?
