We were driving along in far north Queensland (near Cairns) and spotted this parked on the side of the road - an E90 320i (the base 3 series that will be sold in Australia). It had Victorian number plates.
It looks fantastic on the road!
The following day we spotted a brand new E90 330i but I didn't have my camera this time! Both are ready for the launch this week.

Finally.
I'm looking forward to the launch later this week, and the delivery of my new car in July!

I can't wait for the launch thursday. I will try to get a test drive ASAP. Also expect my 330i in end June, waiting for an update.

The E90s have been at my dealer in Newcastle NSW for the last week, just sitting on the lot in preparation for the launch later this week. They have 2 320is (a Silver and a Sparkling Graphite, each with Black interior) and one 330i (with S Graphite and Lemon).
They haven't even been detailed as yet, but they did allow me to check them out and sit in them etc. No way would they let me drive one of them, not even to fire up the engine!
The VIP launch function is this Satruday 27th May and test drives start the following week, according to the sales guys.
I hope to order my 330i following a test drive. Just trying to finalise the options and colour combo now.
Are any other Aussies going to E90 launches this week? Have you seen your dealer's launch stock E90s yet? Has anyone seen a Terra interior car in Australia?

Has anyone seen a Terra interior car in Australia? | i am going to the dealer launch on Thursday night. have been loitering around the BMW HQ in Melb but haven't seen an E90 in the flesh. would be glad to here from other aussies. glad to see u have the diesel X5 AussieMarkF. Shame Aust one of the few places diesel costs more.

Went to the e90 dealer launch last night.
Very impressive looking cars.
Test drive sometime next week.
