Hello Folks,
I have ordered a Titanium Silver for my wife based on a image I still have in my mind which burnt in when I went to the dealer for the first time. It was extremely sunny and the Titanium Silver was glowing (It had black Leather). I was drooling.
From then on I am seeing the Titanium Silver on the road and as each day passes by I am being less and less impressed by this color. Now I feel that Black Sapphire is smarter color. My wife is very trendy and she wants to look cool in it and her first choice was Black Sapphire but I stuck to my guns.
So I need to know should I stick with Titanium Silver which arrives in a month (waiting at the port in Germany now) or put in a new order with Black Sapphire/Black Leather. Time is not a concern. I am going to spend $38,500 on a car and I want to get the best out of it.
So Folks - please help me out here (I am in a huge dilemma)

A. It's for your wife, so get her what she wants.
B. If silver looks less and less exciting to you BEFORE you get it, then what's going to happen after you buy it?

Silver is the hardest paint color to match. I think black looks very slick. I was torn between black and white but ultimately gave into the alpine white.

I went back and forth between Black and silver for a while and eventually ended up silver, mainly because it will be easier to keep clean. I will always feel a little remorse when I see black but I know that the inevitable swirl marks in the paint would have been even harder for me to stomach.
it is a tough call. I would let the wife make it If I were you.

Certainly let your wife pick the color, who cares what you think, you will just agree with whatever your wife thinks anyway if you are smart!!!!! Personally if your wife is trendy then black all the way..... when you go out and dress up at night the predominant color is what? Black. It is hip, trendy, cool all those things..... and throw a BMW insignia on that and she will be looking hot! I orderd black sapphire myself 330 for august delivery. good luck and remember this phrase to say to your wife, "Honey I totally agree"

when it's clean... there's nothing hotter than a black sapp BMW. That's why i ordered black. be prepared to wash it *at least* weekly though.
