Best Handling Sedan......ever!!
 Owned my E-90 330i 6spd for two weeks now, over the last 5 years I've driven just about every performance sedan produced. Including M5, M3 sedan,E55 AMG, C43, C55, S4's, 540i and 545i, CTS-v and numerous less notables. This car blows away my old e-46 on every corner, the only car that comes close is an E-46 M3. I don't think there is anything to debate.
The E90 appears to be superior to the E46 on just about all accounts.
With the exception of asthetics (personal opinion of course) and unproven reliablitly as of yet.

Uuh, sorry to shatter any illusions here but an E46 M3 will completely and utterly blow away an E90 330 in any conceivable performance category, AND handling. It's got similar weight, more tire, more HP and a very similar suspension design but stiffer.
Heck, you will have trouble pulling away from any other number of older models (E46 ZHP, E36 M3 etc.). Just wait and see...

I would think that a huge number of available sedans on the market today, some which can be had for much less, can out-handle the E90 anyday.

Even in BMW's own stable of cars, there are several that can probably out-handle the E90 (although none of them are sedans). But if you want to count 2 door hatchs, I would bet that the MINI Cooper and Cooper S can run circles around the E90 on a tight track.
And if you want to spend a little bit more $$$, the Ferrari 550 and Maserati Quattroporte can probably all out-handle the E90.
Before we all go around sucking each other's d*ck about the handling capabilities of the E90, let's not lose sight of what the E90 is. It's a good handling sedan that offers a balance of performance and luxury, not a no-compromise handling beast.
Best handling sedan ever? Puhleeeeeaaaase.
