So it looks like BMW is going to be doing the red light off thing like the Prius and Insight on the 1 series. According to the press release this will increase efficiency about 8% in the urban cycle. I wonder if this will go into the new M3 next

Stop Start System as well as the Regenerative Braking should be what many BMW owners are looking for, increased gas mileage Do you know when they will be available and if they are going to be Std. or a option? From what I have read they are going into the 5 series. TIA cheers vern
