The manual says to scroll through the menu via the switch on the turn signal stalk, then select with the BC button at the end. Works fine, except my only options are display brightness, check control, time and date. No service menu option/icon as shown in the manual. What am I doing wrong? I know it's there because I remember the salesperson showing me the oil level readout.
Also, how do you switch day/month to month/day? I was able to change format with time but can't see how to re date.

The engine must be running to access the rest. The date is changed with the mm/tt setting. Take your time and read the manual.

As to the date, I was looking right at the manual - that's how I figured out the time format change. I wasn't so lucky re date. I'll try again but I really don't get it.

How do I access it? | It's in the date function under SET IIRC. Scroll button 1 (up/down) on the stalk under SET. Button 2 to set date format(end of stalk). Button 1 again to scroll format mm/tt or tt/mm. tt =dd. Button 2 to accept.
