 E90 side mirrors too tiny?

When test driving I realized the E90 side mirrors are extremely tiny compared to other cars I have driven. Has this been a major issue or nagging factor for any of you E90 owners?

What is BMW's logic behind these tiny mirrors? What do they lose by giving decent sized mirrors?

I noticed it too. But on my 2nd test drive, I got used to it.

Try this.

Adjust your mirrors

I always use this technique with whatever car I drive and it works!

I thought the mirrors were small too. The mirror glass is convex for that wide-angle view....but they take a little getting used to.

I adjusted the mirrors. They work but it might be nice if they offered a bit more viewing area.

Its what you get used to. I had the same problem when I first started driving my E46, but that's because my truck had 6"x9" mirrors. I suppose those mirrors would look odd on a BMW (and probably limit top speed). Fine now.
