I was wondering if the Logic7 with 13 speakers that comes standard in E90 exactly the same one in terms of quality and power that 5 series buyers get when they buy the Premium Sound Package ?

I believe it is. At least that's what my dealer told me and of course I trust him implicitly

I also believe the 3 and 5 share the same Logic 7, though I don't know for sure. The 7 series has a more powerful amp.

I picked up my car yesterday and listened to the cd player for 25 mins on the way home. The sound is excellent - strong and clear. So, any difference between it and the 5 series system is undiscernible to me.

I saw somewhere that the 330i version of Logic 7 has about 330 Watts ??? and the 7 series version has about 400+ watts. But I could not find any specification in the BMW manuals or the lexicon website.

What is the wattage of the regular system vs the Logic 7 in the 3-Series.
Is it really worth the $1,000++?
