 E90 No Lettering?

I was wondering how the car will look without lettering and here is someone else's car
without the lettering. What do you guys think? Can we opt for no lettering in US?

I like the de-badged look. It's easy to do. If you don't like it, go to the dealer and buy another badge and put it on (when I de-badge, I usually wind up ruining the badge). In the past, as I recall, there have been "badge delete" options on some BMWs but good luck finding a dealer who will know what code that is or is willing to take the time (might take five full minutes) to look the code up.

The badges come off really easy. I wouldn't mess with having the dealer do it for you.

A hair dryer, some dental floss, and something to get the remaining adhesive off the paint and you are in buisness

I ordered without. Not sure what the code is, but it is by no means a secret to dealers.

Can't speak for Europe/U.K./Canada, but in the U.S. I gotta say, every time I see a de-badged strudel wagon here in L.A. I think to myself: "there goes [most likely] some poser who bought the least expensive, small engine variant he could and is trying to represent that he just 'might' have the V12".

Mind you, the "poser" part isn't in buying the smaller-engined car [nothing wrong with that], its in trying to front that you have something that you don't.

And before anyone starts, I think that if we are honest with ourselves we know the reality is that most [not all] de-badged BMWs, Mercs, and Audis [in the States anyway] are done so for this reason.

Asked another way, how many people out there [here, there, everywhere] are having their new e90 330i's de-badged? Q.E.D.

Now, if someone is having it done for their own personal aesthetic reasons then cheers, and no harm no foul because they won't care what anyone else’s opinion on the matter is anyway. Those who get really defensive about it...watch out [poser].

That's actually the reason I would debagde a 330 or M3....so people would automatically assume it's a 325. That's just me, though.
