Moonroof Delete Petition to BMW NA

For 3 and 5-series. Copy, choose the relevant options, add your own comments, and send to BMW of North America:

You learn something new everyday. After reading this petition I now understand why some people don't want a moonroof. Good luck!

Per the product manager at a 3 Across America event, only the E90 M version will get the moonroof delete option. Too expensive to carry and to qualify the safety of two roof designs when 95% of the 3-series are sold with a hole in the roof. Put your money where your mouth is and buy an M.

Good luck... you won't get my support on this one, though.

Standard moonroof makes my life easier.

I'm with Fillip on this one (much to the chagrin of the track fanatics); invariably
every time that I ever placed a customer order for a vehicle without a
sun/moonroof, the customer cancelled their order -- leaving me with an
"untradeable" (almost saleproof stock unit). Other dealers would laugh at
me if I put one of them on the table as dealer trade bait.

Sooner or later they would go, but they chewed up the allocation by
artifically inflating the 'days supply' figure or "travel rate" for that
particular model. That really kills you when it happens with low
production or premium (i.e. ///M) cars.

I was thinking of starting the same. You definitely have my support. As long as that's true about the M-series cars, than I can deal with it. That's what I want anyways.

'Untradeable?'

Moonroof = standard? Dumbest... idea... ever... besides idrive and active steering, of course.
