Where are you on Long Island? I like Village Car Wash in Huntington Village. My only gripe is that most of their premium services default to Armoral for the interior, but if you ask them to skip the Armoral on the interior, they tag the inside of your window with a note, and they skip this step.

German dashboards do not look good all glossy like that. I just use my 303 Aerospace Protectant, which refreshes the dash materials (as well as rubber gaskets and trim around windows) without glossing them up.

Wash your own car...Yes, even in the 20-30 degree temps.

Take some pride and honor in your ride.

Your question is also an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a "good car wash". Every car wash will add swirls and scratches into your paint.

my family has always used Touch of Class car wash and have been pretty happy. I always wash my car myself. It was easier when I lived in an apt building w/ an indoor wash bay but this winter I discovered no rinse car wash. I've switched over to the 2 bucket method using Quick and Easy wash and am very happy with it.
