I am having a problem with my '86 528e and the batter.......i have a new battery ( under 1 year old) , but if she sits for a few days she doens't start. I drove her the past couple of days and then this morning she wouldn't satrt again. Any insiight on this?

How far do you drive each day. My wife's MDX battery died on her because our drive to work was only 5 miles one way. Word I got (unconfirmed but I buy it now that I have moved 15 miles away) is that the crank takes at least 8 miles to replenish the battery.
I guess what I am saying is that you could have just worn the battery out with short jaunts.
