I'm patiently (actually, impatiently) waiting for the 2006 330xi which is scheduled to go into production in September (for ?October/November) production.
When will dealers start accepting orders? I know I can probably visit any dealer and they'll "take a deposit", but I am curious when they can actually configure a car for me...

I ordered it with a Mystic Blue exterior and Comfort Access which are only available starting with the September production, like the xi. I put a deposit down because I was happy with the deal I got. My SA plans to submit the order to BMW in August with a mid-October delivery date.

Lots of dealers have already been building up an order bank and have plenty of names lined up. If you don't get in line soon, it might be a while before they can get you a car.

Looks like from the product info guide that the 158s in 17 inch are the wheels on the 330xi sport pkg. Any more pics of the 158s out there besides the three pics in the wheels guide posted above? Help?
