Aluminum trim on E90s
Hey all, when I first saw the "build" your car option on BMW website, I thought the aluminum trim looked high tech and cool
anyways I didnt think about it much, but the car I found that I wanted has aluminum trim, but its not in a dealer yet (the car has the exact colors / specs I wanted, except it has aluminum trim which I didnt think about much)
Has anyone seen the aluminum trim firsthand? I generally dont like the look of wood trim in cars unless its like a jaguar or bentley....
but
The car would be sparkling graphite, black leather, aluminum trim, just wondering what it would look like firsthand? because I havent't seen it, kinda cautious about ordering it without seeing it, but I did anyways

I've seen it in person and I think it's a viable alternative to wood. If you like wood, get wood. If you like metal trim, this is an excellent choice. I'm getting the aluminum on my car.

I also like the classic look of tan/beige leather with wood trim, but to me, that combo leans more toward luxury and is better suited to 5/7 series cars.
Of course, it all comes down to personal preference. Get what you love, and you'll love what you get!
