Just my opinion, but you know what they saw about those. . . to each their own.
I will say that for some reason, bmws tend to look really good in the non-metallic colors. Even the E46 looked great in Imola red, white, solid black, electric red (particularly the performance package). If you are considering the color, I'd highly recommend you try to find one on the lot. Sombebody had some nice photos of a red one on this board somewhere from one of the other US auto shows.

I saw a red 320 in England two weeks ago.

If you are thinking about red... Go for it! Don't get a boring color like everyone else. I have a red 330 on order for June Euro Delivery.
