I don't think this proves anything. None of us were there and you don't know how they were driving. The result could be because one of them is a better driver, could be the handling of the car, one of them could have hit some loose gravel on the road in a turn while the other one didn't. Maybe the BMW was on the side of the road with more run-off room and the other car had a tree on his side of the road.
