 Run Flats...What is the scoop?

I have the new car on the way....

325 w/sp.

What can I expect from the tires in terms of wear and cost to replace?

Anyone with any experience?

Even t Tire Rack has little info.

Thanks

JIM

I've got runflats on my Copper S, performance tires. I'm expecting 20-25k miles max
before II need to replace them

you'll have a lot more weight per tire on a 325 than on a Copper, so even if driving habits are similar, the comparison might be off. The bridgestone's on the sport pkg have a treadwear of 140, so if you gather a range of what others have gotten on mileage and respective treadwear rating you can ratio it and estimate what you'll get. I'd guess that if you get close to 20K mi, you were unsafe during the last rainy season. At present, the current cost of replacement is about $1K for the equivalent OEMs.
