I'm looking to get a 325i but I really like the Ellipsoid tires which seem to only be an option on the 330i model.
Is it possible just to order those wheels and put them on the 325i?
Does the Ellipsoid design also work well for winter tires?

It's going to be a while before I get my 330i-sport (i'm planning on ordering in 2 months and hoping it arrives 2 months after that), but I might get aftermarket wheels and be willing to part with my set of ellipsoid wheels. If you're willing to wait that long, we might be able to work something out...
By the way, what aftermarket wheels would go best on this car? The E46's look good with the Hartge Classics, but i don't think they'd go well with the E90. Anyone else looking into aftermarket wheels? Any suggestions?

If you plan to buy an 325i can you trade-in the stock ones for 18'' ones at the dealer and get a rebate ??? How good a rebate would be ?? I'm not sure they would such offer such a rebate though. Alternatively, i'm thinking about keeping the stock 16'' rims&tires for snow driving and getting new 18''wheels from the dealer (something like 2000$ for 4).. and buying the tires (all-season if possible) elsewhere...
