Headlight format for E90. Amber or clear?

There is a reflector/turn signal piece on the headlight that comes in amber or clear. Does anyone know how to get the the clear version in the US?

Unfortunately, unlike the E46, it seems that the turn signal in the E90 headlight is not a separate reflector that you can swap out relatively easily. Instead it is totally integrated into the headlight unit and to change it will require swapping out the entire headlight.

For adaptive xenons the cost for a single new headlight unit is approximately $1100.

Yes, the clear version is for Euro. SUCKs for those of us in U.S.

I took a close look at the headlights. It appears that the orange piece is 'clipped' onto the lens somehow. There are tabs to which it fastens that stick out slightly from the rest of the headlight. Don't know if its possible, but maybe if you can open up the headlight assembly you can swap this little orange plastic piece out?

Don't know if you guys have closely exam Honda S2000's headlight before. If you look, you will find that S2k also has the orange reflector integrated into their headlight. One of my friend was able to took the orange reflector out, but its not easy. The only step I remember is to "bake" the headlight, hahahahhah. I believe he took the whole housing out, pull/cut the headlight and the casing apart, took out the orange reflector, glue the housing and case back together, bake it in the oven, put it back on the car. Can't remember the exact work he had done, but it worked. Dont know if we can do it this way too.
