I love the wheel..........but I am not sure about sports seat and suspension.... I don't like too stiffy driving since I live in city with unpaved roads.... Will sports pkg make too harsh and stiff driving???? Also, I heard that sports seat is somewhat uncomfortable..... Is that TRUE?????  |

I've had sport seats in my last 3 BMWs and I would never NOT get them. They hold you in place so much better than the standard seats. The thigh support is great too.
As far as the ride goes it is a little harsher but the overall handling is fantastic. If you want the ulitmate driving experience you need the sport package. Oh...avoid or go slow over the potholes.

Is that TRUE????? | The sport package is a must for most people. The ride is smooth and the seats are much better than the standard seats for support and adjustability.
But, driving on low profile tires on unpaved roads sounds like a deal killer to me. These tires and wheels are made for good roads. The road conditions where you live will dictate what kind of wheels and tires you can use.
Sit in the standard seats and the sport seats and see how comfortable they are for you. If you don't mind the standard seats then pass on the sport packagae. If you fall in love with the sport seats then buy the sport package and plan on getting an extra set of wheels for local driving.

I got the sport package and I absolutely LOVE it. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that the high bolsters on the seats make it difficult to get into/out of the car. But when you're in, there's no comparison. The seats fit great and they have the all-important extendable thigh supports. As for the wheels and suspension, I they're great too. Less body roll and better steering response. I think overall, the sport package makes you feel more connected to the road (which for me is good).
As far as aesthetics, they give the car a more aggressive stance and "meaner" look. I like cars that look pissed off, so the sport package was just for me.

Couldn't you get the Sport Package and then get "higher profile" tires for the sport wheels? The cornering might not be as good but the potholes won't be as bad. You will still get a lot of other great features like the seats and suspension mods.

I've been very happy without the SP.
I passed on it because of the low profile tires and numerous potholes where I live.
