 A little help

My first BMW. I am getting a 325i with ED (most likely with Joern b/c I am from MD). I need a little help with the options though. I want to save money, but willing to spend if it is worth it. Here are the options I want:

Titanium Silver
Black interior
Aluminum trim
Automatic transmission
Cold weather package

My question is with the premium package. I like the lumbar support and auto dimmer of the rear view mirror, and the bluetooth. I can live without the leather (reading the discussion, leatherette seems like a better choice anyway), BMW Assist, the compass, and the Garage door opener.

Any thoughts if I should spring for the premium package or just get the Power seat option (it doesn't include lumbar support does it?)?

So do you think I can get it for $500-750 over ED invoice??? Also, options are priced at ED invoice or MSRP price with ED?

Thanks and any input would be appreciate!

Well I have allmost the car your considering, I got power seats. No lumbar. I would get the Sport long before the prem. The new 'ette is great , especially if your getting black.

my issue with sport is the just the hassel of getting winter tires. i agree it sweet looking and would be great, but i don't think i have a place to store them as well as the expensive of getting them. could i put all seasons on them, but that would defeat the purpose?

If your interested in having the power seats, lumbar, bluetooth, may as well get the prem pack. since you will probably spend the same or more if purchased separately.

Just a note on leatherette.....I was sitting in a 325 w/ette at a dealership and when I tried to get out of the car it was difficult. The leatherette has a rubbery texture that makes "scooting" over really difficult. I think that helps keep your butt planted in the seat for twisty road driving....but I remember thinking "yikes...I'm glued to the seat!" Leather doesn't do this. If resale is important go with leather and therefore Prem. My .02c

You could skip the cold weather and premium packages and get the sport package and you will have plenty of money left over to get a winter tire setup.
