I would figure 3-4 actual days on rail max from when the loaded railcar leaves Halifax to arrival in Toronto yard...
You then have to add (and I would suspect the timeframes are similar at every rail head):
1) Time to de-couple the rail car and deliver it to the siding where it gets unloaded. 2) Time to unload the railcars ahead of your railcar at the siding. 3) Time to build it into a carrier load to your dealership.
Patience is a virtue... and I'm sure you will be happy with the end result....
Halifax is backlogged right now, and we are waiting for units that arrived in port onboth 4/29 and 5/06 shiploads to depart via rail....
Your retailer can also track the car with an account on cn.ca once the rail car has been assigned....
