Oops, I did it again Oh that dreaded blue and white flu.

Luckily my wife is very understanding and let me get this today.

1967 R60/2 (very bad year engine-wise, but I have a few spare engines), attached the real prize: A 1952 Steib TR500 sidecar.

Starts and runs well, needs some TLC and detail work, but a real winner considering the price.
My daughters LOVE it - should be a fun summer toy.

One day I will own one of those R12 or R75 war bikes (like you mention)

But at this time a post war bike will have to do

I have a friend who recently imported a R75 side car machine into the USA.
Sidecar has a bullet hole in the sidecar and the engine block has swastikas on each side of the serial number...definitely a war machine back in the day...

Today I did check out a WW2 Willys Jeep circa 1942 but thought it would be too much work and $$ to get road worthy compared to several Mercedes Unimogs I know are around the area.
