I was at the "See the 3" event in Santa Monica yesterday, and while I was listening to the presentation, my cell phone rang. It was my SA letting me know my car was available! I picked it up at 8:00 last night, and I am in heaven!

I have had my new 330i on order since January, and you'd think with all the obsessing, anticipation, and dreaming I have been doing over the past five months that the potential for some disappointment might exist. I am happy to say that the car is even better than I had imagined.

Now, before you seasoned BMW driving enthusiasts throw hate my way for ordering step and active steering, you have to realize that this is my first BMW, and I bought it as an entry level luxury car with an incredible balance of handling, power, convenience, and comfort. I am loving the way this car drives and handles! It is so far removed from my past vehicles, that there is no comparison.

Tonight I will get to see how it handles sitting in traffic. My wife and I are heading up to the "3 Across America" finale event at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Maybe I can swing a preferred parking space?
