Go figure - If you go to bmwusa site. they have the 325i on sale!! They are offering a 399.00 lease special on the base car with an auto trans. Seems odd they would be offering deals right at the intro! Even though there on site calculator is not that accurate the lease price quotes have all dropped from a few days ago. Order up boys and girls!!

$399 is more than $100/month more than the E46 325i was at. $17,400 (I'm assuming $400/month + $3K down) to rent the car for 3 years isn't that great a deal in my book. Well, not unless you can deduct it.

Even if you can't deduct it, it is very close to the amount the car will depreciate in those 3 years and you will not have to deal with selling it or trading it in.
If you keep the car for over 5 or 6 years , you may be better off buying depending on how much you have to spend on repairs after warranty expires.

The $289-$299/month deals they offered on the E46 325s were great. I just can't see justifying this payment.

The equivalent rate for this deal is about 7.2%. Not very good.
