So, the general release date is May 6th, but when will the car to be release from VPC? My car had arrived on April 18th, but my CA told me there's no schedule for BMW to release the car from VPC yet. I thought we will be able to get the car from dealership ON May 6th. Anyone has any idea on this? especially people from North Cal.  |

Mine has been at the VPC since April 8. Owners Circle says estimated delivery is May 7 ... though have heard nothing official from my CA.

The OFFICIAL word from BMW NA through the internal web sight is May 5 for the first cars. Sometimes they show a day early, but other then that the info is extremely accurate.

It is still not clear. Does this mean that the cars show up at the dealer on May 5+/- or released from VPC?

The date I have given is the ETA to Dealer.
BMW DCSnet says the car will ship from VPC on 5/4 and be at my dealer 5/5. This will be our first official customer 330i.

As concerned as BMW may be re: releasing cars before the 5th or 6th of May, both dealers in my area have already sold and delivered One (from each of the two local dealers) of their supposed demo cars. Yesterday (April 30) while at the dealers, I told the sales manager that I really liked the Titanium Silver 330 ZSP and he offered to sell it to me taht day instead of me waiting for my already ordered Arctic 330 ZSP. I saw a sales person wince when he said this, and my sales guy told me that he (the manager)previously refused to sell the car after another customer wanted it. However, he already delivered the 325 Arctic earlier in the day. So, we may see a few sold e90s on the road, which really would burn me up if I had one sitting for a month but couldn't get my hands on it because of BMW's supposed release date.
