Split folding rear seats in the E90

I was very disappointed to learn that split folding rear seats are a Euro 500 option to the 325i which I have just ordered. My existing car is a 3 series coupe e46, and this was a standard feature. I could understand the e46 coupe having it as an option given that it is a 'sport coupe', however the saloon should have this as standard. I have begrudgingly coughed up the cash for the split folding seats, however surely other members must agree that this is ridiculous?

I agree and lucky that it is std in Canada.

It is an option here in the States for the E90 saloon as it was for the E46. The price for it here is $475 which is a better deal for us at the moment (500 euros is about 650 USD at the moment).

My E46 saloon has it and with the tiny trunk it is an important option for me at times!

I agree, it is stupid. And I did NOT cough up the extra cash for it.
But honestly, my current E46 Coupe barely ever gets its seats folded down. I expect to get a 'beater' car (hopefully a wagon) that I can both drive to work in & carry extra large items in.

Well they got me. having tried to bring a simple rake home from Home Depot , carry ski's ect without it in my 323i convinced me, even though im not happy about it.Matter a fact I sprung for the whole CWP.

Isn't there already a standard pass through you could use for skis and rakes?
