Has anyone else had a chance to check this out? I've had a couple of opportunities, in the UK and in the US, and it seems like neither system would pick up the ID3 tag information on the CD, simply reporting "No Artist Information" and "No Title Information". I was able to read a cutoff version of the filename, though that would be quite a disappointment if that was all that could be had.

The Logic 7 system of the 330 I sat in today instantly showed the FM station call letters, then artist name, then song title. I didn't get to try a CD. Next week!

No it definitely read ID tags. I don't know maybe something wrong with CD or with radio you use?

I am not sure why you are getting that error message.
I have an E90 with the bog standard Professional Radio & 6 CD changer in boot (no I-Drive).
I burned a couple of CD's with MP3 & WMA's that I created using Windows Media Player.
I posted some pics of the various displays at http://www.e90style.com/forum/index....pic,228.0.html

I was wondering if perhaps the v2 of the ID3 tag was not supported, or perhaps those that have album art attached. Also, on a similar note, are CD-RWs supported?

After a couple tests, I can throw out the answer to one of them... CDRW is supported. Excellent. I got the title/artist info for a few tracks to show up, and it was probably the same proportion that had the ID3 1.x portion filled in as well as 2.x. I'm still thinking that if 2.x is the only tag to be found, you're not going to see the info. Guess I'll have a little work to do.
