Is there any difference in Engine noise between E90 325i and 330i? Or SP vs non-SP? I remember test driving brand new E46 330i last year and it was extremely loud. I suppose perhaps it had ZHP?

I think my 330's sound level is well balanced. When you say extremely loud, I think 60's V8, no BMW will ever sound like that with mufflers.

I suppose perhaps it had ZHP? | I also came to beleive that the 525 engine is quieter than the 530 engine... The 530 has a louder (BMW tone) at lower speeds...
