 Interior Color with Sapphire Metallic

In your guys' opinion.. would a 325 in Black Sapphire Metallic look strange with Beige 'ette interior? Does this combination look nice due to the contrast, or just strange? Anyone have a similiar combo on their current car?

Recent pictures have me re-thinking my color choice, but I really dont want a black interior, nor do i want to pay $1400 for grey. Terra is out of the question. Any advice?

BTW.. I will be putting in black mats to darken the interior a bit, if that makes any difference.

It would look GREAT when new but I can not think of two colors that would age worse. The black paint will swirl and the beige will look dirty unless you clean it all the time. On the other end of the spectrum would be silver exterior with black interior. This color combo will wear like teflon.

I have a jet black 2002 325i with beige interior and don't find it difficult to keep clean. Black shows dust and dirt very quickly, but it looks beautiful when clean. My experience with the beige is great. I go over the interior every 6 months or so and it looks as good as the day I drove it off the lot. Beige really hides dust well unlike black interiors which are the most difficult to keep looking good. I just ordered a new 330i (e90) and went with sparkling graphite and beige interior. I think the e90 looks best in metallic paint. Beige leather is a classic color with black, go for it.

Black/Beige...had this combo for six-years and never had a problem. Also, had Dog, ate donuts and drank coffee. Easy to keep up and clean. Beautiful combo.

I had black with beige on a 94 325 - no problems with the interior; it's the black exterior that's the chore. However, metallic should be a bit better than flat black.
