Monaco Blue Pics- NOT an E90

I just picked up my Monaco Blue 2005 330 yesterday. I know it's not an E90 but thought you would like to see the color on a real car. They switched from Orient Blue to Monaco Blue beginning with March production of the coupes and convertibles. My dealer told me this was their first car in this color. Like other BMW metallic colors it changes depending on the lighting. However I think it is darker than Orient with a slight grayish cast. I hope the upload works.[IMG]

I've heard/read different things about this color. One of which is that it's dull without lots of light. Is that true? Do you like the color? Look pretty good in the pic!

Too dark for me, I'd wait for mystic blue in September.

I love the color and have gotten lots of compliments on it. I was planning to order Orient Blue and when they stopped production I ordered this sight unseen. In the shade I see a slight grayish cast which might explain why some people thought it was dull. Mystic Blue was my second choice.

I think MB looks great under bright light, but under overcast light it looks almost black to me. They need to brighten it up just a bit and make it even more metallic.
