I have recently decided to build a mid-engine kit car, known as the Auto Speciali Veleno. While the kit calls for a MKII Toyota MR2 powertrain, I have decided to upgrade to something more exotic. The goal is to use a Porsche G96 6-speed tranaxle, powered by a BMW S70 V12 engine. After a bit of research, I can not seem to find much in the way of "aftermarket" performance upgrades for this motor. While I understand the engine has been out of production for some time, have all the aftermarket components faded away also? I would like to see 500+ hp from this motor...what is it going to take?

For interest sake, I am also planning to build an Auto Speciali Healy Roadster, powered by a BMW S38 and a suitable BMW 6-speed manual transmission.
