I was sure I knew the ship my car would be on and "haunted" the Wallenius Wilhelmsen web site wondering why my VIN did not show.

If you're wondering which ship your car is on, the best resource is definitely the dealer. BMW will only show "in transit". In my case, the ship turned out to be NYK out of Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme. Hope this helps others

Are you on Capricornus Leader? That's where mine is, and I just confirmed with NYK yesterday that the ship is on schedule and due to arrive at Port Hueneme on April 12th.

Now I just hope that they really don't keep them at the VPC until May 6th, like I've heard some people saying!

Have any of you guys whose cars are already on ships been told definitely by your dealers that you won't be able to get your cars until May 6th?

No, I'm on the Pioneer Leader due in on 3/19. I assumed the cars would be kept at the dealer, not VPC. That just delays the process more. I live in SD, but purchased from the dealer in SBA. I was planning to take Amtrak up on 4/6, but perhaps I'll have to reconsider the date. Delays...delays
Congrats! Deb 325i.SGG/Terra

Haven't heard from my dealer, but I get nervous reading threads like this: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92330

When are the first cars supposed to make landfall here? If it's soon, it could be rough waiting until May 6, knowing it's sitting there
