If you go to the image gallery in the bmwusa.com 330i section, you'll see two interior shots of a 3 with beige interior. You'll notice that the plastic surrounding the air conditioning controls is beige colored. If you go to the interior section of the sleeker portion of the "explore the new 3 series" preview site, however, the plastic is black.
I know this seems like a minute detail, but I think the black plastic looks a lot better than the beige. Anyone know what's going on?

sometimes the pictures can vary between the european models and the US models. Just a hunch.

Just a miss during the photoshop job, I'm sure. People have caught other stuff like this before.

The "Sleeker" section is completely computer-generated graphics, not photos of an actual car. The images were probably generated by BMW's CAD/CAM software. The look you like only exists in a computer. The photos of actual cars show reality.
