We lost one of the remotes to a Jeep. It was missing for about two years so I finally decided to get a replacement and reprogram them (The dealer has to do the reprogram). About two months after the reprogram, my wife put on a jacket she hadn't worn for quite a while and found the missing remote in her pocket. So now I need to decide if I want to get all three reprogrammed or keep the extra as a future spare.
You didn't give details about how you lost your remotes but maybe you'll get lucky and find one in a coat pocket someday.
