 Acura E90

As I was casually putting a previous generation Acura TL behind me this morning, the face of the car in my rearview mirrow was hauntingly familiar:

It took me a few more seconds to realize that what the TL reminded me was of this:

Despite the obvious detail differences, when taken as a whole from an "expression, presence, stance" perspective, somewhat discouraging that at least from the front, the E90 looks more like it descended from the old TL than it did from the E46.

Very much unlike when the E46 came out. Back then, it was at the same time unequivocably unmistakable and immediately visually pleasing as the successor to the E36.

Still I'm hopeful that seeing an E90 in person and getting behind the wheel of one will go a long ways towards my wanting one. We shall see..

What do you mean? They both have bumpers, headlights, and somewhere for the air to go in! What more do you need .

Hogwash. As usual, there were legions of people complaining that it looked like either a Pontiac or a Civic.

I agree with Plaz. There was just the same amount of b!tching in 98 and 99, when the e46 came out. BTW, the only resemblance I see is the top grill strip on the hood, other than that, there is no resemblance other them both being automobiles, imho.
