Are good snow tires on 325i in Erie/Cleveland area...

as good an option as the 325ix (all wheel drive) with all season tires?

I prefer the 325i since it is faster, but will it handle well in snow?

Does DSC help?

Do I need 4 extra rims for the snow tires on a 325i or can I use them year round?

Looking at the E90 version.

Any help is appreciated.

Discussed adnauseum. Especially in the tire forum. Please do a search. The cliff notes version is that snow tires will get you through winter with DSC and RWD. Handles very well in snow. Get a seperate set of wheels for winter. Xi gives more ground clearance and added traction starting on hills.

for the rear wheel drive version, do you get 4 extra rims or just 2?
