My sales guy called today letting me know that I could place an order (not knowing prices) for a 330i today that would be delivered in April. He only had one production number to give away for that month and was offering it to me.
Since I want a 325i I said no, and he said that 325i deliveries will start after the 330i.
Anyone else have similar stories?
(note: also obviously I would not order without knowing the prices)

Dealer in Jacksonville told me the same thing. I figure they're blowing smoke up my @$$ as usual. However, I wouldn't be too surprised if BMW ran the 330s first and we get 325s by late summer.

It makes sense from a marketing perspective. Get the bad boy on the street first..sell the more expensive and more profitable model to all those that "gotta have it first"...get the buzz going about how great the car is (with the bigger engine) and then sell the more affordable 325 to the mouthwatering masses.

Anyone else have similar stories? | Yes. Other markets get the 320d, 320i and 330i first. The 325i won't launch until some time in the summer, according to BMW GB at any rate.

The 320d and 320i are launching simultaneously. As it happens, the US only gets two models anyway, so it's more by luck that a lower-end model is not yet available.

I have a 325i with accepted order status for March Production. Have not heard anything about a delay (yet!)
