Speaking of grill treatments, that e90 eyebrow thing is pretty hard to take - not to mention the overall blockiness of the thing, and that trainwreck where the A pillar meets the base of the windshield.

Then we get to the awful crease down the side; oh and speaking of Asian-inspired tail light treatments....

I think the E90 is the worst mistake because, like the E46 before it, it could've been and should've been BMW's most inspired design.......instead, it's blocky, bland and befuddled - at least the upcoming coupe's addressed the nose issue.

Ed
looks better w/ these lights maybe

X3 looks like ass. especially the front lights. the slightly updated Z4 looks a bit better than before but sadly, they should have discarded the zorro slashed sides. the e60 comes in 3rd w/ the ugly front and rear light treatment and the thin brush stroke creases around the bumper etc.
I voted the 5 (e60, I assumed, not e39)

No comment on the SUVs since I don't care for that type of vehicle and pay little attention to them.

I vote for the biggest improvement being the Z4 to the Z4 coupe. From somewhat strange looking car to downright good-looking

the doors? how are they different from the doors on any other car? its just a sheet of metal with the lines extended from the front and back....
They look too large and make the car look too tall.

Very Interesting. I Really Love the way the new 5 looks. I feel that it is the sexiest 5er yet to date.

Only car in the BMW line up that looks ugly is the X3, especially with the plastic non painted skirts and bumpers.

Love the 5, very bold. I think it was very brave of BMW to release such a bold and diffrent design from all of the other bland looking brands; MB, Lexus etc. I also think the 3 and X3is a little un-bold for me and a little too bland. On the other hand, I think BMW did this to the 3 on purpose because the 3 is the best selling bimmer on their line, so they did not want to loose too many buyers with the new bold styling that may not appeal to everyone.
Everyone has their own opinion.
