 How to Program a Radio Station HELP!!



I have been following the instructions on my 2005 6 Series for programing a radio station and it doesn't seem to work. Is there something magically about programing the radio stations?? Appreciate any help anyone can give, hate to go down to the BMW Dealer for this.

I have a 550i with the NAV iDrive system so our cars should be identical in the respect of iDrive and radio function. If you have the radio display up and you manually tune to a station there should be a box at the top of the scale that says "SET". Click the "SET" button then twist the iDrive controller to position it to the preset that you want to use. Press the iDrive again and that will set the radio station for that preset.
