I wanted to give everyone taking Performance Center Delivery (PCD) an update regarding factory tours. The BMW Manufacturing Plant has informed us that as of June 1st there will NOT be any factory tours available until further notice. The museum will still be open for viewing and watching a virtual tour of the factory (except for holidays).
Everyone taking delivery before June 1st should be able to take a factory tour.

Update:
I have been told that the tours at the factory in South Carolina will be closed for at least 1 year starting June 1st.
I'm pretty sure for that length of closure that it is related to the X6.

And I recently convinced a friend of mine from Seattle to do PCD + take the tour for his X5 delivery this summer. Darn.
