Looking for a new car.. (Maybe)

Well last night my Acura 03 TL went down the gutter, hopefully for the last time with me. I called my lawyer and he said he will work on getting a dealer buy back for me (35k). Now I'm on the waiting game and starting to look at some of my options. I know I want something fun to drive and full size. I would like a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission with a lot of goodies in it. I'm leaning towards a Lexus SC300 (92-97) but I don't want to miss out on something out there as well. I have a E39 already and I love it as a daily driver, I guess I'm looking more for a weekend car. Any suggestions? Thank you guys.

A full size weekend car? Hmm. Usually "weekend cars" are sports cars or convertibles, not full size. If you already have a E39, I don't see why you'd need a "bigger" car.

Maybe a E46 3 convertible? If you can find one in a manual, it's the best lookin' convertible ever made. Extremely handsome and classic lines + topless = lots of great cruising. Or maybe a Z4 if you want something more hard edged. Do elaborate on the "bigger" part though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I guess it doesn't have to be a full size I just don't want anything like a civic or corolla (I don't see getting up to30k anyhow). I can do with a 2 door roadster or in those lines. (Just not a miata) S2k are nice, and by weekend car I was trying to say it wont be my daily driver, if that helps any.

The s2k is a great choice, loads of fun. Just make sure if you're going used, you find one that hasn't been tracked or abused badly. Hondas can take a lot of sh!t, but you'd probably rest easier knowing that your s2k wasn't on the track every other weekend.

hard top z4

or maybe even find a nice z3 (if u like them) and mod it. Back when I had a Mustang I'd frequent a Mustang forum, this guy sold his and bought a z3, did some decent performance mods, suspension, the works. He'd always write about racing his friend with a Corvette and tearing him up. I think that was before he went FI too but don't hold me to that. He'd run drag tires though, that I do remember.
