In 2006, worldwide sales volume of BMW's three automotive brands reached 1,185,088 vehicles, a 5.2% increase over 2005. For 2007, company executives expect sales to top 1.4 million units worldwide. Driving the growth will be several new models debuting in 2007including a revamped 1 Series, the 3 Series convertible with retractable hardtop, 5 Series sedan, an M5 Touring edition, and a revamped X5.
