I ordered a 335i sedan and it is sitting at the VPC with damage only described on the report as 'location front bumper' Serverity '1 to 3 inch' I don't know if this means the bumper is just scratched or if this means that the bumper has been knocked out of alignment by 1 to 3 inches ... I told the dealer I don't want the car but after waiting 2 months and having trouble finding a car with the same options/colors, I am getting very discouraged. Has anyone had a car damaged at the VPC ... can you tell me how the work came out ? thanks for any advice you can give me ...

Countless cars are damaged at the VPC, and the work is immaculate. It has to be.
Don't worry about it, you'll never notice even if you look closely.
The report definitely means that there is a small scratch on the bumper.

If I ever got news like that I would be more upset at the delay in getting my car than the repairs needed. They will take care of the car, no worries.

Once the car is ready for pick up, do your own inspection and then you can always complain if it is not 100% to your satisfaction.
I wouldn't worry too much. It is only the lengthy wait that makes one daydream into exaggeration.
