Does any one know where I can go to check my VIN # specifications, because my 2003 325xi was said to have come with xenon headlights when I bought it and when I had to have one replaced the old bulb that came out was a halogen bulb. I heard that many dealerships are switching out bulbs and thinking that no one will figure it out. So before I get a lawyer involved I'd like to just make sure I have a case by checking the vin details, and carfax does not offer that report.  |

Go to the nearest dealership's service department...either give them your VIN, or they can "read" your key, which will pull up your vehicle's history. They should be able to tell you anything you want to know.

Which headlight burned out? With the Xenons only two of the 4 are Xenon, the other two are still halogen. The two that are on as low beams are Xenon, the other two (come on in high or as daytie running lights) are halogen.
