 A couple of questions on the '07 5 series



Greetings all,

I recently got my '07 530i and have a couple of questions that I am hoping to get answered here.

-I cannot seem to get my community gate opener to sync with my homelink system. The garage clicker was a breeze but the gate clicker just doesn't want to take. Any thoughts? (It doesn't have a rolling code feature)

-Does anyone here use a treo 650 (Verizon) and have HUGE problems using it via the car? My phone goes into perpetual reset mode constantly. Any thoughts/suggestions?

-What is the recommended AUX cable to use with my Ipod?

Get in touch with HomeLink and they will walk you through it, before you go nuts. Good luck

Any stereo mini cable should work. I use this one, because having the right angle plug going into the AUX input doesn't stick out as much into the back seat area. It works great in combination with the Monster iCarCharger, which has a right angle plug for the power outlet and a line out on the dock connector.

Thanks Bimmerguy288. That link was not only the solution I was looking for, I can now also turn my lights in the house on on the approach.
