I have not said much about it up until now, but I think it's ok to let the cat out of the bag.

Bad News: I'm leaving my position at the BMW dealer

Good News: I'm not going far away! Read below...


I've accepted a new position within our dealer that will officially begin May 1. I will be the Sales Manager of our new MINI dealer which will be completed within the next four weeks and will officially open May 1. The next several weeks will be very busy as I carry out my responsibilities at BMW in addition to doing alot of stuff for my new position. It'll be sad to leave BMW, but it'll only be across the parking lot whenever I need my fix! (and MINI is still a part of the BMW Group, after all) I'm looking forward to joining MINI! Our dealer will serve a huge market that has been without a MINI dealer since the launch. The outlook for MINI looks promising with the new R56, the Clubman coming next year, the new Convertible the following year, and a new "4th model" the year after that.

I'll always be a BMW enthusiast at heart (and don't worry... I'm not going anywhere), but I probably will be spending a bit less time here and a bit more on some of the MINI boards in the coming months.
