Just wondering if this is true. I lost one of my old keys. I called the emergency key number and they sent me a new one. I seem to be able to use it fine, so now that I have two keys, does that throw the lost key out of the loop?

Shouldn't any key with the proper transponder settings work?

Quote: I do not know for sure. Just going by how a system like this should logically work, any properly programmed key should work.
I suppose there could be the proper passcodes and a unique identity encoded into each key--with only so many unique identities authorized.

I really don't know. Call the dealer and see what they say. Probably some good $$$ if even possible.
