Ok........I saw an ad for a 540i 6spd 76K for $13,9K So i jumped on it. I called up and they said someone has a deposit on the car and he's comming back tomorrow to see if he get approved for financing........So I call the next day and they go "i dont see a deposit on that car, come down if you want to buy it" Im like "yes the other guy fell through" So, I go down with a certified check for $13,5K Its in good shape and its got a couple of little thing that need fixin but no big deal!

So now im like

can i take it for a test drive

yeah

on the highway?

well the owner is NOT here today and he has the dealer plate,, so you can take it around the block


So I did and it drove nice. So im like when will he be back and there like late today or tomorrow before 2pm. So i put down $500 deposit (refundable) to hold it for me.


Next Day

I call up around 10am and the owner never came back yet. I ask when hes comming back and there like "I dont know hes the boss, Ill call you before 6pm to let you know if he came back" so i get no call and at 6pm i call

No i wanted to buy the car yesterday... I came with cash and I couldnt test drive it cause you dealer plate isnt here. You are making it very difficult for somone with cash to buy a car. How do people buy cars if they cant test drive them?

They usually drive them around the block

5 min go by and he dont come back, So i call back and i get a fax machine twice. So 40 min later i call from my GF's phone and he answers after i say I think we got cut off

Is the boss gonna be there tomorrow with the plate?
