I'm going to be getting a new 330xi in the next few months and would like to use the ED option. Been wanting to take a trip to Europe anyways and what better way, right?
I live in Rochester, MN and the BMW dealer (Park Place BMW) here seems somewhat small and I'm not sure if they'll be competent in doing an ED deal so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any BMW dealers in the Minnesota area that are a good choice for doing ED? I would even be willing to travel to one of the surrounding states like as far as Chicago...

Thanks in advance! | Have you tried Park Place? Sometimes the smaller dealers are better bets for ED, so I wouldn't discount them due to their size. BTW, I've been to Rochester many times- what a nice place (if somewhat cold this time of year)!

It's -8 right now with a low of -20 tonight...
I haven't mentioned doing ED to Park Place yet. I will but I also wanted to see if anyone on this board had any experience with any dealers in the area. From what I've read you want to go through a dealer experienced with ED to avoid any problems. If I go to Park Place and they give me the deal I want and claim they know all about EDs and then mess everything up for me so my trip to Europe gets screwed up that would suck hehe. Just trying to get a reference if possible.

I talked with Park Place - Rochester, Sears Imports and Motorwerks - both in the Twin Cities. Sears was only willing to sell at ED MSRP. Both Motorwerks and Park Place acted like they knew ED, but the information I got from them was inconsistent with the information I obtained on this forum. Long story, short - after gathering all the information I needed from this forum (mainly the stickys) I presented a final offer to Motorwerks and they accepted. I am happy with the deal. I will be picking up the 530xi on 3/13.

I did ED through Park Place, and everything went very smoothly. PM me and I can tell you who to talk to and what kind of deal I got.

I haven't taken re-delivery yet, but so far everything has been smooth. I just received the BMW delivery letter, and my 650 should be here within a few weeks. Greg
